It doesn't pace itself, doesn't world-build, doesn't apologize: princess in the tower, horrors between you and her, go. The design language is pure Buichi Terasawa, all sharp silhouettes and pulp bravado, feudal armor bolted onto machine parts like a bad dream someone drew with an airbrush.
