Anime Like Kaiketsu Zorori: Mamoru ze! Kyouryuu no Tamago
A pint-sized fox thief steals a dinosaur egg and somehow that becomes the actual plot instead of the setup for something darker. The movie commits hard to the absurdity: Zorori is selfish, lazy, and stumbles into helping people because he's too clever to let a good scheme fail. You spend ninety minutes watching a character who should be annoying become absolutely magnetic because he never stops moving and never takes himself seriously. This is what happens when a show trusts that a likable rogue doing ridiculous things is entertainment enough. If you've ever watched a movie and thought "I just want to see a funny animal do crimes for an hour," this is the answer.
