SYNOPSIS
Noriko's ordinary commute home shatters when she tumbles into a world of magic and monsters utterly foreign to everything she knows. A mysterious warrior named Izark finds her lost and afraid, offering protection in exchange for her companionship. Their partnership seems fated, but darkness runs deeper than either of them realizes. An ancient curse sleeps within Izark's soul, waiting to consume him entirely, and the prophecies whisper that Noriko alone holds the key to awakening it. She must choose between the bond forming between them and the catastrophe his awakening could unleash across the land. As they journey through hostile territories and crumbling kingdoms, the line between savior and destroyer blurs. Noriko discovers her own power growing in ways she doesn't understand, while Izark fights an internal battle he may be losing. Their connection deepens even as the danger multiplies, forcing both to confront what they're willing to sacrifice for each other.
