Kagetsu belongs to the shape-shifting Kouga tribe, whose members reach a point in life where they must choose which sex they will live as from then on. For Kagetsu, that moment arrives while he lives with his sensei, and his feelings toward him make the choice impossible to put off. Matters worsen when Kohryu, a fellow tribe member, pushes Kagetsu to return to the tribe and leave his sensei behind. At the same time, evil spirits begin to menace the village, endangering both Kagetsu and his sensei. Caught between his people and the person he cares for, Kagetsu faces supernatural danger while weighing a decision he cannot take back. The two-episode OVA blends fantasy, romance and supernatural threat.
