SYNOPSIS
Akira Nikaido's routine high school existence shatters the night he encounters Shirogane, a cryptic stranger who claims they're bound by fate. Skeptical and uninterested in destiny, Akira wants nothing to do with the guy. That changes when shadow creatures start hunting him in the dark corners of his school, and Shirogane reveals an uncomfortable truth: the barrier between the human realm and a parallel shadow world is collapsing. To survive and stop the breach, Akira must transform into a "shin," a being who straddles both worlds. Caught between two realities, Akira finds himself fighting monsters that no one else can see while trying to understand what Shirogane really wants from him.
