A lonely girl arrives at a mansion in the middle of nowhere and finds out the furniture talks back. Kasumi Haruno is a fourth grader whose parents, both zoologists, are heading to Africa for their research. After seeing them off in Kasumi Town, she moves into the enormous mansion of the Kasumi family, which stands at the center of town surrounded by forest. A strange atmosphere hangs over the place, and inside she finds talking appliances, part of a world of youkai called Henamon. In exchange for her lodging, Kasumi takes on the cooking, laundry and cleaning, and she starts a new life among her mysterious companions. This second season of Kasumin blends fantasy with everyday slice of life.
