A girl in a conductor's uniform and a manta ray drifting through impossible space. That's the whole story, and it doesn't need to be anything else. Tatsuki and irodori animate it like they're drawing dreams in real time, every frame moves like it's aware of its own beauty, every color shift feels intentional enough to break your heart. This is what happens when animators get to make exactly what they want with no compromise, and you can feel it in every second.

A young girl dressed in a railway conductor's uniform travels with a floating manta ray, and the two explore a strange, otherworldly space together. Released in 2017 as a single fantasy ONA, Keifuku-san brings together two earlier parts and adds new footage as an epilogue. Tatsuki directed, Hirayasu animated and Yukko handled the art, all three from the animation studio irodori. Yumiri Hanamori provides the voice work.
