Aoi is an ordinary boy with an awkward problem: a curse turns him into a frog whenever he gets wet. To be rid of it, he is sent to another world, home to a frog kingdom, to find the princess who is meant to undo the spell. Once he meets her, he learns she has no idea how to lift it, so the two set off together to track down the spell that will. Their journey brings them face to face with odd creatures and plenty of danger, and they gain many new friends along the way. The story blends adventure and fantasy with a steady dose of comedy.
