In the heavenly land of Paradice, young Prince Kotenco has an important job: keeping the Angel Star safe on behalf of the queen. Kotenco is a very well-behaved child, but whenever bad spirits rise, he changes into Matenco, a naughty double who makes trouble for everyone around him. Switching his angel ring turns Matenco back into the good-natured Kotenco. Meanwhile, the ruler and the Devil of the Ground Country have their sights set on Paradice, and Kotenco must guard the Angel Star against them. The result is a gag comedy for young children with a fantasy adventure setting, built around the silly contrast between the good prince and his mischievous other self.
