Set between the first and second seasons of Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, this single OVA episode brings Madoka home to Kamogawa for the New Year, since she can no longer pilot Midori properly. Back home she gets New Year's letters from Lan and Muginami telling her how their lives are going, and she answers them right away. Elsewhere, Yoko sends her assistant to search the ocean floor for something. Months go by and Madoka moves up a year at school, while Lan and Muginami tour a copy of Kamogawa built on the tourist planet Polyhedron. The episode mixes comedy with the franchise's mecha action.
