SYNOPSIS
A timid guy stumbles into the worst possible job interview when he crosses paths with Mechako, the no-nonsense boss of Kaikigumi: a supernatural organization responsible for every ghost, monster, and paranormal scare that's ever terrorized humanity. Through a series of comedic mishaps, he gets roped into helping revive the group after it's fallen into disrepair. What starts as a nightmare gig becomes something weirder. Instead of facing traditional horror, our protagonist finds himself caught in the chaotic daily operations of managing supernatural creatures who are less interested in terrifying people and more interested in causing absolute mayhem. Every day brings a new absurd situation: poorly executed hauntings, miscommunicated assignments, and creatures that somehow make everything worse instead of scary. The real terror isn't the ghosts. It's trying to keep this dysfunctional organization from falling apart while dealing with Mechako's relentless expectations and his coworkers' complete incompetence. Dark comedy unfolds as the line between horror and hilarity collapses entirely.
