SYNOPSIS
The Raimu Unit pulls into a tropical island for repairs after their last battle leaves the battleship Amanohara severely damaged. What should be a straightforward pit stop becomes something else entirely when they arrive during the island's vibrant Gogyou festival. Captain Umakai Shintaro and his five skilled pilots finally get a chance to breathe, wandering through festivals and soaking up the island atmosphere. The peace is short-lived. Enemy forces track them down, forcing the crew back into combat mode just when they'd managed to relax. Between fending off attacks and keeping the ship operational, Shintaro finds himself juggling military responsibility with five very competitive female pilots who see the downtime as their chance to win his affection. What unfolds is a chaotic blend of mecha action and romantic chaos, where mission priorities constantly clash with personal agendas. The tropical setting and laid-back festival atmosphere create an unusual backdrop for both combat and comedy, making this feel less like serious warfare and more like an extended adventure where danger and attraction intertwine.
