Hyoubu is a villain you want to see win, which immediately puts you at odds with everyone trying to stop him, the show knows exactly how dangerous that tension is and refuses to let you off easy. Twelve episodes is exactly enough time to make you understand his logic before it breaks your heart. The action never stops moving long enough for you to decide which side you're actually on.

Hyoubu Kyousuke ranks among the strongest espers alive, and he is also a fugitive who was betrayed long ago. His powers are wide enough that he can even control his own aging, and they are so dangerous together that he wears a limiter to hold them back unless an emergency demands otherwise. As head of the secret criminal group PANDRA, he rescues espers from people who mistreat, capture or try to kill them, using force when he must, and those he saves become loyal to him. Beneath his hard stare lies a kind heart, and he aims to spark a revolution for his fellow espers. Now PANDRA faces a deadly threat, and Hyoubu is ready to take off the limiter. This twelve-episode action and sci-fi spin-off puts the psychic villain at the center of his own story.
