Fudo Aikawa, known as Red Gelato, leads Gelato 5, a hero team sworn to protect Japan. Desumi Magahara, the Reaper Princess, is one of the combat leaders of Gekko, the secret society scheming to conquer the world. They should be mortal enemies. Instead, they fall for each other in the middle of a deadly fight. Now they are dating for the first time, and nobody can find out. On the battlefield they keep up the act of bitter rivals, then slip away to spend time together, holding hands with a weapon still in the other. Neither has any experience with romance, yet both work hard to make it last while dodging the suspicion of their own comrades. Torn between each other and the sides they serve, they have to stay alert to keep their love hidden. The result is a supernatural action romance with plenty of comedy.
