The entire emotional arc of a romance story implodes in two and a half minutes without a single word of dialogue. What you're left with is pure visual storytelling that moves so fast it feels like watching someone's relationship collapse in real time. The shock isn't cheap, it's earned through the specificity of the animation choices and the silence that makes every frame count.

A schoolgirl sits on a bench after dark, waiting for the person who wrote her a letter asking to meet. She suspects nothing, but her friend is ready for things to go badly. This single-episode horror romance ONA from 2016 is a short MMD animation, the second such work by creator Nagao Takena.
