Hikari had moved to another school, but fate brings her back when she transfers to Seishou. Through her old friend, Karen finds a secret elevator leading to a vast theater under the school. There a talking giraffe oversees duels between her classmates, the Stage Girls, who fight to be named Top Star and win a lead role in the class's production of Starlight. Holding on to her promise, Karen joins these strange auditions, hoping to make their shared dream real. The result is a psychological music drama built around staged battles.
