Chisato and Takina's chemistry doesn't need guns or conspiracies to work, it's just two people who've learned to exist in the same space without destroying it, now serving coffee instead. The comedy lands because the writers understand that the funniest thing about these characters is how fundamentally they don't fit the slice-of-life mold, and watching them try anyway is pure comfort. It's a six-episode reminder that the best part of Lycoris Recoil was always the friendship, not the plot.

Chisato and Takina clock in at Cafe LycoReco, and the comedy follows. Across six short episodes, this ONA spends its time on the ordinary routines of the pair, their friends and the rest of the cafe crew rather than on any grand story. Each short comes from a different director with its own storyboard, so every installment brings a fresh take on the same cast. The result is a light, funny slice-of-life collection that finds its charm in quiet days spent together.
