Sorata Kanda brings a stray cat into his dorm and is exiled to Sakura Hall, the dumping ground for students the school doesn't know what to do with. She gets lost easily and her room is a disaster, yet her art is known around the world. Living alongside other misfits, Jin and Ryuunosuke included, Sorata first wants nothing more than to get out of the dorm. As he cares for Mashiro and his growing collection of strays, the two draw closer and escape stops mattering. Surrounded by housemates who each excel at something, Sorata faces his own lack of a special skill and pushes to match them.
