The first half hits you with quiet joy, three broke guys finding enough in each other to survive. Then Hagumi arrives and the show does something harder: it watches you fall in love and doesn't pretend it ends well, doesn't pretend you stay whole. The monologues will lose half the room. The other half will recognize themselves in every hesitation, every moment where wanting something badly enough doesn't make it yours.

Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi and Morita Shinobu are art school students who share a small, cheap apartment and find pleasure in little things despite being poor. Takemoto is the youngest, the sensible Mayama looks out for him, and the erratic sculptor Morita keeps failing to graduate. Their routine changes when their teacher introduces Hanamoto Hagumi, an eighteen-year-old who looks like a middle schooler but is already a gifted sculptor and painter with gallery showings behind her. Takemoto falls for her at first sight, and Hagumi soon befriends Ayumi Yamada, a popular pottery student who knows the three flatmates well and secretly has feelings for one of them. Mixing comedy, drama and romance, the story follows these five friends through love, youth and the search for who they want to become.
