The Avidya Zone doesn't just exist, it materializes what you're afraid of, what you've buried, what you deserve to lose. Eight kids pilot mechs into their own psychological wreckage, and the show treats that literally, not as metaphor. Each episode peels back another layer of who these pilots actually are, and by the end you realize the real monster was always the person inside the machine.

A deep, warped blackness known as the Avidya Zone swallows everything it reaches and keeps spreading toward the human world. From it come strange beings called Imashime, which take the shape of humanity's despair and chaos. As children, a group of eight met and grew close inside this lightless void before being separated and sent back to their own dimension. Years later they come together again to battle the Imashime with robots called Vess, but their fight only slows the zone's advance. Things change when a new enemy, a Corpse, appears, carrying a song said to kill anyone who hears it within nine days. Once the group hears it, each member starts drifting away, caught up in personal troubles that put humanity's future at risk. Expect a psychological mecha action series.
