Thirty years after unknown invasive alien species nearly destroyed the world, humanity still fights these creatures for living space, and its safety is barely holding. People carry on with daily life by looking away from the constant danger. The United Nations has launched EXCEEDS, an agency that investigates and fights the crises the invasive species cause. In the Far Eastern island nation of Mizuho, Shina Hisase works as a young hunter who exterminates invasive species while living on a remote island. She wants only a quiet life with her younger sister Setsuna, her last remaining family, until an unexpected incident draws her into a much larger conflict. The magical girl series mixes action, comedy, drama and fantasy.
