SYNOPSIS
Hat never asked to inherit his ancestor's destiny, but when he tumbles through a dimensional rift into Devildom, the choice gets made for him. The sealed kingdom of darkness is crumbling, and the ancient evil king imprisoned there centuries ago is stirring. With no way home and no real plan, Hat discovers he carries dormant magical power in his blood, the same bloodline that once defeated this very threat. Stranded among demons and monsters who range from genuinely hostile to surprisingly friendly, Hat cobbles together a makeshift team while learning magic on the fly. His carefree attitude clashes constantly with the gravity of his situation. Around every corner waits a trap, a monster, or another obstacle that tests whether he has what it takes to finish what his hero ancestor started. The deeper Hat ventures into Devildom, the more he realizes the evil king might not be quite as simple as the legends suggest. Between comedy and danger, friendship and survival, Hat becomes something more than just a scared kid in over his head.
