Mai's world shifts when a baby brother is born into the Kazuki family, and the new arrival changes life for everyone at home. The short story looks at how the family is altered and at how Mai feels about her little brother. The siblings and Shou share an eventful day, and when it ends, Emi has another concert waiting. Mai is an elementary schoolgirl who uses a bracelet from the mirror fairy Topo to transform into the 18-year-old magician Magical Emi. The roughly 15-minute OVA is a gentle slice-of-life drama that arrived over fifteen years after the original Mahou no Star Magical Emi series wrapped up. It came as an extra on the first DVD-Box of the original show in 2002, with Annou Takashi back as director and new character designs by Umitani Toshihisa.
