Ten-year-old Miho Shinohara is a carefree third-grader who dreams of becoming a manga artist. She takes in Mogu and Pigu, two lost fairies disguised as stuffed animals, and in return they give her magical drawing tools that turn her sketches into real objects. The same magic lets her become Lala, a lovely fifteen-year-old based on her own drawings. A talent agency spots Lala, and Miho's ordinary school life soon runs alongside work as a model, an actress and a pop singer. The series is a magical girl story that mixes comedy, drama, music and romance.
