Negi Springfield and Ala Alba reach the Magus world, and things go wrong almost at once. Negi learns that several more of his students, who know nothing about magic, have secretly come along. Then Fate Averruncus, a mage of enormous power, attacks the group and scatters them to distant corners of the magical planet. With very little to work with, Negi sets out to track down his missing students, defeat Fate and keep searching for his father. The four OVA episodes adapt part of Ken Akamatsu's Magic World manga arc, beginning with chapters 184 to 188, with character designs that stay close to the manga, unlike the first two anime seasons. Expect supernatural action and adventure with an ecchi streak.
