Yoyo and Nene are sisters who earn their keep as noroiya, magic-using cursers in a fantasy world. When a huge tree suddenly appears in a nearby forest, with tall buildings from another world caught in its branches, the pair set out to investigate. The trip carries Yoyo into our world, where she startles two children who run straight home. There they find their parents turning into monsters. The movie is a magical-girl adventure fantasy adapted from Hirarin's manga Noroiya Shimai.
