Taking his father's refusal to quit as an example, he sets out to rebuild his career as a fielder. His intense training leaves his family confused, above all his young daughter Izumi, who is upset that her father is so rarely around. For Goro, baseball is the one gift he feels he can give his children. The one-episode OVA mixes sports drama with comedy.
