Balot walks into a casino to steal the evidence that will destroy the man who burned her alive, knowing that if she fails, everyone she's come to love dies with her. The entire trilogy converges on this single night of psychological warfare and neon-soaked violence, where every choice she makes is already written into Shell's calculations. She wins not because she's smarter than the system designed to kill her, but because she learned to care about people the system was built to discard.

Easter, Balot and Oeufcoque have laid out their final plan to bring Shell down in court. To carry it out, they must enter Shell's own territory, the BlueEgg Casino at the center of Mardock City, and locate the chip that stores his memories. If the chip stays hidden, their case will be thrown out, they will no longer be of any use, and that will cost all of them their lives. Balot has to find it before time runs out, all while evading Boiled, whose pursuit of her and Oeufcoque has turned frenzied. The film is a psychological science fiction action story.
