Maroko is a 1990 sci-fi comedy film. The Yomota household is an ordinary family of three: father Kinekuni, 42, mother Tamiko, 38, and their 17-year-old son Inumaru. Their routine changes when a beautiful girl turns up at the door introducing herself as Maroko Yomota, Inumaru's granddaughter, who says she used a time machine to come meet her ancestors. Tamiko is firmly against it, but Kinekuni and Inumaru let her move in, and the family's contented setup starts to fall apart.
