Hiro Momose wants a calm high school life after middle school years spent being bullied and running errands for delinquents. Every club turns the clumsy freshman away, so she joins the Helper's Club, whose only member is Dan Ichikura, a quiet, bespectacled boy with good grades and athletic skill. Then she learns he was a delinquent in junior high. He swears her to secrecy and insists he has changed, yet he still has a habit of starting fights. Momose has to decide whether he has truly reformed while keeping his past hidden, in a romantic comedy with dramatic touches.
