This single OVA is the 26th episode of the 1996 Famous Dog Lassie television series. It never went to air and was released on the seventh and last VHS volume instead. The series centers on John, a lively boy from a small English coal-mining town, and Lassie, the clever dog he rescued from a flock of sheep and raised like a sister.
