Nobody talks about this one. Tanaami builds a mood so precise it stops feeling like animation and starts feeling like watching your own memory dissolve. The pacing isn't slow because the film has nothing to say, it's slow because some things only reveal themselves when you stop rushing toward answers. You finish it having seen almost nothing happen. You leave it having felt almost everything.
Memories hidden in darkness, known in Japanese as Yami no Kioku, Yume no Inei, is a single-episode short film made by Keiiichi Tanaami.
