Kurokawa's a burnt-out ex-cop running a mercenary outfit with two people he barely tolerates, and somehow that friction is the entire joke. The show knows exactly how much charm it has and refuses to oversell it, building every case around three people who bicker like they're already sick of each other before the job even starts. You either click with that specific energy or you don't, but if you do, there's nothing else on TV quite like it.

Three misfits run the Danger Service Agency, an outfit that takes on risky work. Mikura brings the muscle, Harada provides the strategizing, and Kurokawa, a bitter former cop, fancies himself the leader.
