If you made it through season one, season two knows exactly what you came for: more Arthurs, more nonsense, more Excalibur's complete indifference to actually helping anyone. The problem is it's the same joke told the same way, which only works if you never got tired of it the first time around. The new villain and Fairy Combine mechanics are there, but they're window dressing on a show that runs on "six incompetent heroes argue while holding legendary swords," and lightning doesn't strike twice just because you wish it would.

Million Arthur 2 is the follow-up season to Hangyaku-sei Million Arthur, an action fantasy adventure based on a Square Enix online role-playing game. Excalibur, the sword of legend, sizes up everyone it meets, and anyone it judges deserving receives great power and the title of Arthur. The sword is lavish with that title, so deserving candidates abound. Six of these Arthurs set out for England to overthrow the corrupt rulers troubling their homeland and the rest of the world.
