SYNOPSIS
Tamaki is an ordinary elementary schooler burdened by an extraordinary problem: her father is absolutely obsessed with penguins. His relentless lectures about penguin facts have poisoned her against the entire species, and he's determined to fix that. His solution is unconventional even by mad scientist standards. He creates Minori, an android designed to look and act like a penguin, hoping that befriending a cute penguin-roid will cure Tamaki's aversion. What starts as a well-meaning parental experiment quickly spirals into chaos. Tamaki and Minori find themselves racing through their neighborhood putting out fires, literally and figuratively, caused by her father's harebrained schemes and questionable inventions. Between Minori's innocent penguin antics, Tamaki's exasperation, and their father's oblivious enthusiasm, everyday life becomes anything but ordinary. This OVA plays comedy through the collision of a deadpan kid, a charming robot, and a lovable disaster of a parent.
