Fumiko gets rejected and runs downhill, gaining impossible speed through an entire town, and the show treats this like a perfectly normal physics problem to solve. Every frame flexes animation that has no business existing in a one-shot ONA, with character expressions that scream louder than the protagonist herself. It's pure comedic momentum, no plot to slow you down, just a girl accelerating past all logic while the world tries to catch up.

Schoolgirl Fumiko has just told Takashi, the boy she loves, how she feels, but he turns her down because he wants to focus on baseball training. Hurt by his answer, she runs off in tears, racing downhill through her small town and gaining more and more speed. One wrong step sends her flying, and things only get worse from there. This comic independent short runs 143 seconds and was made almost entirely by Hiroyasu Ishida, who directed, animated, edited and recorded it. It won the second YouTube Video Award Japan for animation in 2009 and a student Award of Excellence at the Tokyo International Anime Award in 2010.
