A girl writes a love letter as practice for a story she'll never finish, and somehow that unfinished thing becomes the most honest confession in the entire film. The animation flickers and stutters like a memory you're trying to hold onto. In twelve minutes, it says more about what it feels like to want someone than most shows manage in twelve episodes, all of it whispered through rain and the space between what you write and what you actually mean.

Hoshikawa Katari, a schoolgirl who hopes to become a novelist, writes a love letter to confess her feelings to a boy at her school. The confession does not quite go as she might wish, yet without knowing it she has written a kind of short story, one that touches the heart of a little girl named Zenbi, who makes the experience into a memorial event. The one-episode amateur drama was made by the CG artist Imperial Boy.
