A kid doesn't know he's a walking apocalypse. The moment his forehead bandage comes off, he stops being himself and becomes the thing everyone fears. The entire show is built on that one terrible secret, and whether sealing it away forever is mercy or just postponing the inevitable.
Sharaku is an innocent young boy, unaware that a sealed third eye on his forehead holds a terrible power. When that eye opens, he becomes an evil sorcerer of the three-eyed tribe, a people with supernatural abilities who once built an ancient civilization. In that state he can call up demons, wields a red harpoon wand named Red Condor, and sets out to conquer mankind. To protect humanity, he wears a bandage that keeps the eye sealed. While it stays covered, Sharaku knows nothing of his true nature and has no memory of his dark half's schemes against the world. His partner Wato is part of his adventures. The TV adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga is aimed at younger viewers.
