A carnivore raised by herbivores watching himself become a parent to prey. Heart's whole existence is built on the collision between what he is and what he was taught to be, and Umasou has no idea his adoptive father is supposed to want to eat him. The show never flinches from that tension, but it also never lets it poison what they actually become to each other. You watch a monster learn that love isn't about instinct or biology. It's about choosing someone, over and over, even when everything in nature screams against it.

A Tyrannosaurus named Heart is brought up by a plant-eating dinosaur, and as he grows older the other dinosaurs frighten him. One day he comes across a baby Ankylosaurus and calls it Umasou, a name that means "looks delicious." Umasou soon grows attached to Heart, and an odd kind of family love forms between the two. The series is a short-form adventure told in brief episodes.
