A baby T-Rex learning what love means sounds saccharine until you realize the film is about a creature built to be a predator choosing gentleness instead. Toron's journey moves because it never condescends to its own premise, this is not a cute animal story wearing dinosaur skin. The film understands that real strength is the choice to protect rather than consume, and it never flinches from showing what that costs a creature born for teeth and hunger.

Toron is an infant Tyrannosaurus who has lost both his mother, Sera, and his father, Zesta. Left on his own, he sets off on a journey and makes friends along the way. Through those encounters he comes to understand what real strength and courage are, and what it truly means to love. The film is a prehistoric adventure made as a Japanese and Korean co-production, and it was released in Korea as Gonyeoseog Masnagessda 2: Hamkkelaseo Haengboghae.
