The premise sets a trap and the show walks straight into it: two girls named Miyuki, one living in his house, one at school, and the show refuses to let him choose cleanly. That confusion becomes the entire point, not a love triangle that resolves, but a mirror held up to what he actually wants versus what he's been told to want. Masato Wakamatsu lives in Tokyo with his step-sister Miyuki, who is not related to him by blood. Their father is nearly always away on work overseas, so the pair are left to live on their own. Miyuki is cute, kind and sensitive, and the boys around Masato find her very appealing. Masato also has a girlfriend at school who shares her name: Miyuki Kashima, a pretty and gentle girl who seems like what any high school boy would dream of. The result is a romance and slice of life TV series running 37 episodes.
