Oliver May serves as a technical officer in Zeon's 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit during Universal Century 0079, charged with testing new military technology. He is stationed aboard the Jotunheim, a civilian transport ship converted for military use. As his work takes him into battle, the One Year War is seen through the eyes of a weapons tester trying to make a difference in a conflict that keeps changing around him. The three-part OVA is a fully 3D CGI mecha production, first screened at the Bandai Museum in Japan as part of Gundam's 25th anniversary celebration.
