Char's entire legend starts here as a wound. You watch a brilliant kid lose everything to political machinery, then choose to become the thing that machine fears most. By the time he puts on that mask, you understand he's not a villain, he's a man who learned that survival means becoming a ghost in a red suit, and the show never looks away from what that costs him.

Zeon Zum Deikun, a leader of the Spacenoids, dies suddenly, and his children Char Aznable and Sayla Mass are set on a tragic path. Char will later be known as the Red Comet, an ace pilot of Zeon. Their story unfolds alongside the Zabi family's seizure of Side 3 and the founding of the Principality of Zeon. The series also shows the early days of aces such as Ramba Ral and the Black Tri-Stars, the development of the mobile suit, clashes with the Earth Federation and the road to the One Year War. This mecha action series is a TV re-edit of six theatrical releases from 2014 to 2018.
