Panpy's hunting for a legend and finds a friend instead. Moffun operates on pure soft-creature logic, which means every interaction becomes unexpectedly warm without ever breaking its comedy timing. You're watching what a show within a show looks like when the actual show decides to let its mascot carry five episodes, and it works because nothing here tries to be anything other than exactly this comfortable.
Panpy is a cryptid hunter who heads into snowy mountains in search of a legendary yeti. Up there he meets Moffun, the very yeti he was looking for, who brings him to Mofu Village. The five comedy shorts follow the adventures the pair share in the village. The series is a spin-off of the Ousama Sentai King-Ohger TV series and presents Moffun to Issho, an anime that is popular inside the King-Ohger world. The shorts first came out on the Toei Tokusatsu Fanclub app.
