Monkey Turn V treats speedboat racing like it's a religion, and the show genuinely believes every single race matters because the people in them do. The mechanical detail and the human cost, the way a mistake costs you your body, your future, your crew's faith, turns every qualifying round into something that feels like life or death. You watch kids become obsessed with a sport nobody talks about, and by episode five you're obsessed too, understanding why these teenagers would risk everything for a boat that goes fast.

Monkey Turn V is a 2004 sports anime.
