Ren and his companions face a dire threat after the monster Nostradamus foretells an apocalypse that will come when a red moon rises. With the prophecy hanging over them, the group races to keep the world from destruction, knowing that failure could mean the end of everything they know. Everything changes when Mana learns the truth about her origins and the part she is meant to play in what lies ahead. Her discovery makes her the key to their fate. Will what she now knows help save the world, or will it hasten their doom? Meanwhile, Madarame prepares to reveal a new project to the world. This second part of Monster Strike 2 pairs action and fantasy, and it returns to a blend of 2D animation and CG rather than the full CG of its predecessor.
