A high school kid dyes his hair blonde to match his teacher's anime crush, and the show never stops being funny about how committed he is to this bit. The comedy writes itself because both characters are locked into their own logic, and watching them collide is genuinely hilarious. It's a slideshow with a shoestring budget, which means you're reading the jokes instead of watching animation, but the jokes are good enough that you don't care.

Murai, a second-year student at Takebe Gakuen High School, is in love with his homeroom teacher, Tanaka-sensei, a secret otaku devoted to otome games. When he confesses, she turns him down flat, saying she could never be interested in a boy with long black hair. Her heart belongs to Hitotose, a character from one of her games. The next day, Murai shows up with his hair cut short and dyed blond, looking just like Hitotose. Tanaka is shaken by the change and tries to keep her distance, but Murai keeps pressing on in his efforts to win her over in this romantic comedy.
