A coup d'état shatters the Forland Kingdom when the court scientist Dr. Akamashi seizes power with an army of beasts and two android servants, and the king is killed. Princess Alita flees the castle into the forest, where she runs into Falis, a fearsome bounty hunter traveling with her monster henchmen Dominikov and Pete. An accident sends the two over a cliff, and they come out of it having swapped bodies, each keeping her own skills and personality. Alita, now in Falis's body, offers her own body as collateral and persuades Falis to pose as the princess and win back the capital. The plan works at first, but Falis settles every problem with her sword, and Alita has to keep the kingdom from sliding into a fresh scandal while the pair search for a way to return to their own bodies. Deeper intrigue soon surfaces in this action fantasy OVA.
