A burnt-out manga artist finds two strays and accidentally finds his reason to keep going. The cat actively despises him, the dog is chaos, and somehow that's exactly what breaks him out of his own head. Every episode is just watching someone remember that showing up for something small, something that needs you, is enough.

A teenage manga artist finds his creative spark slowly fading. When he heads out hoping to find new inspiration, he ends up adopting two pets by accident: a cat named Huanghuang and a dog named Bazahei. The pair regularly land him in trouble, but they also bring him companionship and affection. Even though one is a cat and the other a dog, he comes to see them as his family, and his days turn loud, cozy and cheerful. The 13-episode ONA is a comedy and slice-of-life story about a young creator sharing his home with two mischievous animals.
