Velonica is a bossy, thoroughly selfish little alien girl who crosses the galaxy from the far-off planet Metrotopia and lands on Earth. Her task is to meet the planet's leader and sign a contract that lets a huge antenna be installed, linking Earth to the Galaxy Network, which her father runs as President. She soon learns that Earth has no single leader and that its people fill their days with odd, illogical pursuits, and she begins stirring up trouble. After a fateful meeting with an Earth boy named Konpei, she finds herself pulled between a possible budding romance and her devotion to the arts. The show is a short-format comedy with a fantasy twist.
